About Heritage Conservancy
Heritage Conservancy’s mission is to preserve and protect our natural and historic heritage.
Based in Doylestown, PA, and serving Bucks and Montgomery counties, Heritage Conservancy is committed to being the region’s premier, nationally accredited conservator. We are a community based organization dedicated to the preservation and protection of significant open spaces, natural resources, and our historic heritage. A champion of conservation best practices, Heritage Conservancy believes that everyone is responsible for stewardship and seeks to enlighten, engage, and empower others to help achieve this mutual vision.
To date, Heritage Conservancy has facilitated the preservation of over 15,000 acres of open space, farmland, wildlife habitat, and important watershed areas in Bucks and Montgomery counties. This preserved land helps to protect water quality and the quality of life for your community. The Conservancy has also designated more than 600 historic structures on its Register of Historic Places, which recognizes the historic and architectural integrity of the structures that comprise the character of this region.
Heritage Conservancy’s national accreditation by the Land Trust Accreditation Commission affirms the organization’s commitment to excellence, trust and permanence.
