If you are an environmental organization or a municipality, agency, community or faith-based organization, business, or educator that is hosting an activity for Earth Day (a cleanup, plantings, or educational advocacy), we want to hear from you!

With the historical 50th anniversary of Earth Day on April 22nd, Heritage Conservancy and Herald Publishing are embarking on Protecting Our Local Waterways: A Collective Civic Initiative. We are collecting metrics from Earth Day activities taking place in the Bucks and Montgomery counties in PA as well as Hunterdon and Mercer counties in NJ.

The Bucks County Herald will promote your event (see below) for FREE in a publication on April 16th, and then Heritage Conservancy will gather your event’s metrics afterward to show the positive impact that we can make together as a community for our local waterways!

We aren’t asking you to do anything extra other than providing information about your event ahead of time so it can be published in the Bucks County Herald (we need this by March 13th) and then recapping it afterward by filling out a metrics form so we can gather data.

The Bucks County Herald wants to help promote your Earth Day activity for free on its site and in the printed Herald Guide to Earth Day 2020, published in the April 16th edition of the Bucks County Herald.

If you are hosting an activity for Earth Day–between April 16 and May 1–they want to help promote it.
